Wish Adoption for our annual Winter Wishes is now open!
Adopt a wish here: getinvolved.tix.com
Winter Wishes is an annual program that provides gifts of clothing and toys to children ages 3-5 in New Brunswick preschool programs. Under normal circumstances, individuals and organizations would be able to adopt a wish, shop for those children’s wishes, and then drop these items off so they can be wrapped and given to the local children at a holiday party in their honor. This year, due to COVID, RUPA will be doing the shopping, but we still need the Rutgers community to help by adopting children’s wishes! Winter Wish Adoption is online this year and will be open until 5PM on Tuesday, December 15.
We encourage you to join efforts with organization members, friends, and family to share in this philanthropic effort. To participate, go online to getinvolved.tix.com to confirm your wish adoption. Your online gift will be matched with a specific child and RUPA will work to make sure these children receive an item they need (either a coat, clothing, boots, or a backpack) along with a toy. We are excited that a portion of the proceeds from the Big Chill with Rutgers Recreation will help provide toys for these children as well. Thank you for helping us to continue a tradition that has been bringing holiday joy to local families since 2009. Please email email@example.com with any questions.
