
03.30.19–[College Ave, Morrell Street]–The time has come yet again for Scarlet Day of Service!! On this Spring day focused on giving back to our community, students and alumni are sent to various locations in New Jersey to take part in a variety of service projects. It is an incredible way to show just how much you care for your community!
REGISTRATION:
– In order to participate in a service trip, students must be registered. Individual and Group Registration opens on Tuesday, March 5, at 2 PM! getinvolved.tix.com
GROUP REGISTRATION:
– You are welcome to register individually for this event, but if you would like to participate with a group of 5-25 people, you are welcome to register as a group.
– Prior to registering your group, every member of your group MUST register individually using the following platform: getinvolved.rutgers.edu
– Group registration will open Tuesday, March 5 at 2 PM.
– Groups must register by Thursday, March 14 at 11 PM. Any groups who do not meet this deadline will still be able to register individually
SITE LEADERS:
– If you are interested in leading a group of students in service, we are currently recruiting site leaders for the event.
– Site leaders arrive to the College Avenue Student Center – Graduate Student Lounge at 7:45 AM on Saturday, March 30 for a brief training
– As a site leader, you will be the main contact with the community partner, keep attendance throughout the trip, lead a post-service reflection, and account for all supplies during the trip

DETAILS:
– Individual participants who register by Thursday, March 14 will be able to choose their service site the week prior to the event
– Group participants will be assigned to sites based on size
– Attendees should arrive at Morrell St, to the left of the College Avenue Student Center, by 9:30 AM, and will return from their service trips around 4:00PM.
– Breakfast, lunch, a t-shirt, work equipment, and transportation to and from your chosen service location will be provided.
