RUPA Presents: Hot Dog Day
Come out to a Denim-themed fashion show to help raise awareness to end sexual violence on campus! Cosponsored with Rutgers NO MORE and SCREAM Theater, this fashion show supports the nationwide campaign of Denim Day.
Enjoy performances by VPVA and ShockWave during the program, as well as a free reception right after the show.

What is Denim Day?
It is a sexual violence prevention and education campaign. The campaign originated in Italy when women in the Italian Parliament came to work wearing jeans in solidarity with the victim whose rape case was overturned by the Italian Supreme court. They argued, “because the victim wore very, very tight jeans, she had to help him remove them, and by removing the jeans it was no longer rape but consensual sex.”
