While RUPA conducts several trips every semester, very rarely have they been to cities further than New York or Philadelphia. This year, in an effort to further RUPA’s range, a trip to Washington D.C. was created. The trip left early in the morning and arrived at Washington around noon, meaning students had almost a full day to independently enjoy in Washington. It was a beautiful day in our capital city with the cherry blossoms in full bloom and little swamp humidity. Despite being a larger trip than usual, planning for this event was fluid, and thanks to the responsibility of all the trip participants, we were able to enjoy the day without any delays.
